Our Staff
At Hope Harbor, our caregivers complete all required Oregon Department of Human Services training before providing direct care, including nationally recognized CPR and First Aid certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, Ensuring Quality Care (EQC) coursework with examination, and specialized dementia care training that aligns with state mandates for person-centered strategies and behavioral support techniques. Additionally, all our caregivers undergo mandatory fingerprinting and comprehensive background checks in compliance with Oregon Oregon Administrative Rules before providing resident care.
Adequate Training
Our team's annual continuing education ensures that every caregiver remains current with best practices in safety, resident rights, emergency responsiveness, and the latest in compassionate care approaches.
Our leadership and caregiving staff also complete Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) training and culturally inclusive care preparation, fostering an environment where dignity, respect, and individualized support are always front and center.
